traditional still life....
For the images above I looked at trying to recreate my own images to reflect the theme of traditional still life, To create the images I used a low-key setup and zoomed into the objects on the table. I used a monochrome setting for the colour of the image on the left to which allowed different tones to be brought out in the image. I decided to take the photos from an angle and at the side to make them more interesting than just being face on to them.
I used Photoshop on the images and used the actions to edit them. The image on the left has an 'Old B&W' action on it to make the image looke aged and the image on the left had a 'Vintage 3D' action over it which then turned it purple.

I used a monochrome setting for the colour of the image allowed there to be different tones in the image. I used Photoshop on the image using an actions to edit it. The image has an 'Aged B&W' action on it to make the image look old, like the traditional still life images I took inspiration from. |
